Terms
The deal between you and app easy, please, in plain words. Last changed 15 September 2026. What happens to your data is on the privacy page.
The short version
You describe an app; we build it, keep it online, and it stays yours. Don't use it to harm people or break the law. It is early days and one small server, so keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We can take an app down or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we can.
Who you are dealing with
app easy, please is run by Jonathan Gough, an individual in the United Kingdom. Questions, complaints and reports go to support@tbc.com. A postal address will be here before the site opens.
Your account
One account per person, with a real email address you can read, and you need to be 18 or over. Login links and codes are yours alone: anyone with one can act as you until it expires. An organisation's owners can add people to it and see everything in it.
What you make is yours
You own the apps you make here and what you put into them. To run the site we need to store them, show them to the people you share them with, and send them to the AI model that builds them, and you give us permission to do those things and nothing more. An app you share with everyone appears on Discover with your name, and other people can open it and make their own copy of it; that is what sharing with everyone means. You can put an app away or change its sharing at any time.
What other people put into your apps
If your app asks people for anything, a name on a rota or a vote, you decide what to ask and you are responsible for it: tell them what it is for, keep it no longer than you need, and clear it from the app's page when you are done. Do not build an app that asks for passwords, card numbers or anything else that would hurt someone if it leaked.
What you must not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else to.
- Publish anything that harasses, threatens or defames a person, or that a child should not see.
- Pretend to be someone else, or to be us.
- Build anything that tricks people out of money, passwords or personal details, or that spreads malware.
- Copy other people's work without the right to.
- Scrape the site, hammer it, or try to get into anyone else's account or apps.
- Use another person's app in a way they plainly did not intend.
Every public app has a Report link. If an app or an account breaks these terms we can hide it, take it down, or close the account, and we will say why unless the law or someone's safety stops us. We don't read apps before they are published; we act on what we see and what is reported.
About the builder
Your apps are built by an AI model from what you ask for. It is checked before each version is saved, but it can still get things wrong, and it can be confidently wrong. Look at what it made before you rely on it, and do not use an app made here for anything where a mistake could hurt someone: medical, legal, financial or safety decisions, for a start.
Limits
So the builder is there for everyone, each person may ask so much in an hour and in a day, and the site as a whole has a daily budget. Settings shows where you are. Apps have limits on file sizes and on what they can keep. We may change the limits, and will say so in the release notes.
What we are not promising
This is early access, run by one person on one server. The site may be unavailable, slow, or changed without notice, and it may lose data despite the nightly backups. It is provided as it is, without any promise that it fits your purpose. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from not being able to. Nothing in these terms limits what cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use the site for a business, you agree that what you paid, which for now is nothing, is the most we owe you.
Ending it
You can delete your account from Settings whenever you like; your apps go with it. We can close an account for breaking these terms, or close the site altogether, and in the second case we will give notice and a way to download what is yours first.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes and the release notes say what moved. A change that takes something away from you will be announced across the top of the site and by email first. Using the site after that is agreeing to the new terms.
Law
These terms are under the law of England and Wales, and its courts settle any dispute, though if you live elsewhere in the UK you may use your own country's courts. As a consumer you keep every right the law gives you that these terms cannot take away.
